5th Annual Meeting
The Fifth Annual Meeting of the Cells into Organs Network of Excellence was held from April 8-10 at the Woutschoten Conference centre in Zeist (NL).
During this meeting the network members were able to share their findings and discuss them freely with their colleagues. It also provided the possibility to inform the EU delegates of the work done from month 37 to 48.

Previous network meetings:
- 9-11 October 2007: International Symposium "Stem Cells, Development and Regulation" in collaboration with BSIK innovation consortium
- August 31st - September: Symposium "Mechanisms of early development: cell fate determination, morphogenesis and patterning". A short interview was written by an attendee in the BSDB newsletter (pg 16).
- 4-8 Jun 2007: workshop "Designing the Bodyplan" was a meeting about concepts which focussed on aspects which are important for the making the embryo’s main body axis.
- 4th plenary meeting will be held in Les Embiez conference centre, near Toulon, South of France in the period 9-12 May 2007.
- 12-18 April 2007: Chick meeting in Barcelona.
- 3rd Annual Meeting: New Hall conference Centre Cambridge, April 19-21, 2006.
- A postgraduate course on "Different tissues, same strategies: common molecules in different developmental systems" has been held at the “Life and Health Science Research Institute", University of Minho, Braga, Portugal. 15-17 September 2005.
- 2nd Annual Meeting: University of Minho Braga, April 20th and 21st 2005.
